Continuing the female lead Gita Yoga tradition of championing the human condition through science and yoga.
We at The Yoga Creative believe you follow the teachings not the guru, our ethos is to listen carefully, act with purpose, and we never fail to lose sight of putting the health of people at the heart of everything we do.
When the founder of Gita Yoga, Margrit Segesman was diagnosed with arthritis, she didn’t just deal with it, she did something about it. Seeking guidance from a higher teaching, Margaret pioneered a whole new approach to Yoga understanding and harnessing the essences and the elements of science, nature and life force that positively inspires our physical and mental wellness. Margaret founded Gita Yoga and brought it to Melbourne, Australia back in the 1950’s, creating the first Yoga School and Classes in this country – well ahead of her time.
Sadly Gita Yoga today is not as well known as other forms, as there really hasn’t been the huge amount of marketing put behind it, just people in the know who hear from friends come to Gita Yoga and just love what it does for their lives.

I believe that it is important to continue the female lead Gita Yoga tradition of championing the human condition through science and yoga. This approach not only helps to strengthen the mind and body, but also provides a platform for self-discovery and empowers individuals to overcome any obstacles they may face. With the current state of the world, it has become more imperative than ever to prioritize our mental and physical health. The teachings of Gita Yoga can provide a much-needed ray of hope and positivity during these trying times.
