All great reasons to start a yoga practice.
As we make our practice regular the yoga magic begins. Not only do we loosen stiff muscles and joints and improve our movement range, but re invigorate energy centres and endocrine glands that have a positive effect on our well being and overall health. We find ourselves feeling lighter, seeing things more clearly and finding our lost smile. Yoga magic indeed!

Did you know it is more than than just muscles and tissues that benefit when we stretch.
There are 7 major chakras, or energy centres along the spine which also receive benefits with every movement. It's not something you can see, but you can certainly feel it. Blockages are released and you are able to lift in life.
The crown chakra at the very top of the head and it receives a big benefit when we invert,such as turning the head head upside down as we do in the down dog. This also trigger the Pineal gland deep in the centre of the skull. This is an amazing little endocrine gland that also contains tissues similar to that in your eyes;, it responds to light. So do people actually glow or appear radiant?
Well yes, maybe they do.
