Peace Week a beautiful Yogic tradition

In the Gita tradition there is a beautiful affirmation for Peace during the first week of every month.

For 40 years Teachers and Students of this tradition have made this commitment to peace in our world.

An intention is set using the Peace Mudra, a powerful form of connection combining hands and breath.

Its a simple intention, to find peace within yourself, to be at peace with others, and to be at peace with the world in which we live.

Sometimes Peace Breathing is also used, with the visualisation of breath, mudra and connection, sometimes both.

In this subtle way we raise our own vibration, or sense of well being, and extend it out to others for a more harmonious life in a more peaceful world.

Shanti, Shanti, Shanti.
