We welcome yoga teachers seeking to grow their practices and looking for a teaching community to collaborate with and actively engage with.
We expect that the teachers come well qualified and have a critier of certificates, diplomas with set min hours of teaching experience, as we want to ensure all students are safe and properly cared for.
The min requirements we seek are;
- Certification that the Instructor or Practitioner is qualified to instruct the practice or modality they are presenting.
- First Aid Certification current and renewed every 3 years.
- CPR Renewed annually.
- Insurance.
- Minimum Industry requirement for Yoga Teaching is 200 hours, most Yoga Creative Instructors have 1000 plus hours, some 2000 plus, even our youngest Instructors have 500 hours plus. All Gita trained Teachers start with 900 hours minimum training. This was the first training in Hatha yoga for many of our team.
